    BFG 8800GT OC2 upgrade

I have decided its time to upgrade my graphics card. What I looking for is a card that will be faster, quieter, run cooler and not take a huge amount more wattage.

    What do you advise?

how much faster? Cause doesnt a 4850 beat it by quite a bit?. I recommend the 4850 vapour x because it performs great, silent runs cool and uses less power than the average 4850 and when an average 4850 has a tdp of 110w and an 880gt has the same( i think) then it could potentially use less power and provide a noticeable difference.

    Re: BFG 8800GT OC2 upgrade

The HD4770 is slightly slower than the HD4850 but consumes much less power too.

    Here are some reviews:

Alternatively a GTX260 or HD4870 maybe worth a look too. The GTX260 does have relatively low power consumption at idle though although at load it will be higher than an 8800GT.

TBH,I think I would wait until more 40nm cards like the HD4770 come out.
