Re: Price check on my system

    I missed this, sorry. Take these prices as a very rough guideline, if you sold them on ebay you'd get alot more I bet. Anyway;

£200 for the monitor if it's boxed, no dead pixels, warranty etc... you know the drill

    £40 depending on condition, age..

    Original diamondback? £15
    3G version? £20

£100 for the Cosmos S, again depending on condition

Depending on model and age, £40-£45

£210, maybe more if it clocks really well

Q6600, £90-£100 (I suspect the upper would only be on ebay)

£140 for the mobo, up to £200 on ebay though

£45? Not too sure on this

    £25 ish

    £90-£110 (latter on ebay)

£50 as 6GB can be had for £70 now, shame.

Re: Price check on my system

The g15 is v2? If it is then its probs worth about £30 to be honest since you can get it for £45 brand new at c3 computers, might be worth keeping it? Since its a pro keyboard or sell to me !.

Re: Price check on my system

you wont get near halfway with that spec, its al used and warrantys will be running out on things slashing the prices.

lets put it this way, i wouldnt give you more than £50 for the PSU as they wear, same with the motherbaord, anyone who knows anything about mobo's knows the caps are worn making it a poor buy against new parts.

Re: Price check on my system

    Its V1, i really want the G19

I wasnt expecting to get much for the keyboard/mouse but no point in keeping it if i plan to get a new keyboard.

Re: Price check on my system

You need 100 posts to start selling on hexus forums but you could sell it via ebay or something. Sometimes the V1 can get more money due to the fact it has some extra keys compared to v2, how old is it?

Re: Price check on my system

So warranty is all most up? That could decrease the value a bit since theres no coverage for damage etc. I do think its worth selling on ebay and ud fetch a quick £25-£40(varys!) due to it being V1 and its not in production anymore.

I would buy it but im looking for the v2 and want warranty unless you would sell for £20 ^^.

Re: Price check on my system

well thanks for the offer i'll let you know the details when i come to sell this pc cause ive got a huge decision to make haha.

either buy a £2000 pc on scans 12 months finance then sell this one seperatly and that way i may not get enough cash to make up for the majority of the expenses or wait till i find someone to buy it as a whole while the value depreciates orrr just keep it.

Re: Price check on my system

Why do you want/need to upgrade anyway?. Surely its better to wait it out since new GPU's are out in a few months along with new cpu sockets for intel and AMD would have better cpus by then.

Re: Price check on my system

I love building PC's and every year ive taken out new finance from scan or overclockersUK and sold my old rig, its a hobby really. I dont need a new build this one can handle a hell of alot its just i really want to get a new one. How come theres new sockets out? and arent the new sockets only for i5?
i dont really understand the difference between i5 and i7.

Re: Price check on my system

i mean that core 7/5 doesnt really have an upgrade path yet so if you wait a year then there should be much better hardware along with cheaper stuff!. It does just depend on if you have the credit though, hardware does lose value so this system next year could be worth like £100!
