The M350 is Industry's smallest universal enclosure, measuring 192 (w) x 210 (d) x 62 (h) mm.



Front Panel: Power Switch, Blue HDD and Blue Power LED.



Solid Steel frame construction with strong removable black plastic front panel (removed by unscrewing and drawing back the case lid slightly).



Area on front panel can be fitted with sticker allowing system integrators to re-brand the unit

Smart Power Button:
The M350 power button can be disabled by means of removing a jumper, thus preventing accidental ON/OFF actions.
An additional jumper activates an "always ON after power loss' automatic pulse generator that will startup your motherbaord every time power is applied, regardless of BIOS setting!

With two brackets inside, how can you put anything on the bracket where the CPU is as there wouldn't be any headroom. Although its a fantastic idea...

The dimensions look similar and has built in compact flash reader/writer which can be used as a boot device. It is also designed to be freestanding; this one looks to be designed for rack/frame/equipment mounting. But yes, its a nice case!

McPhee _ Me too, but I doubt that i7 will ever come out for Mini iTX. i5 maybe ... never know.

Brewster _ I believe the variation with two brackets is for lower performance systems.

Capable of housing mini-ITX boards ranging from tiny Atoms to fully featured desktop or mobile CPUs.
The M350 permits fanless operation (air convection via tiny holes) for TDP < 10 watts and CPU-only fan for TDP <= 65watts.

PeterB _ the M300 looks interesting but still quite different to the M350 I think.




By the way, another online buddy has the M350 case in operation with the following specifications:

CPU = E5200 with themperatures idle in the 30s and load in the 50s
motherboars = Zotac i630
RAM = 2 x 2 GB
HDD = 5400 rpm
PSU = Pico PSU 150W with 80W 6.6A brick

I think that's remarkable considering he only uses a 80W brick.

As it seems, it's not so easy to find an external transformer though.
Mini iTX shops often offer up to 110W (12V) bricks, but the PSU from above is capable of 150W / 12.5A.

After looking hard, I found a 150W transformer on eBay (bargain) but the connector was slightly different.
110W might be enough but then again, you don't want a system running at full load.

Yes, same concept - and same basic design, but different application. I'm using the pico psu and I boughtthe 120W PSU - probably overkill as I don't expect the finished system to use more than about 40 watts and a PSU is better loaded to about 80%. I still have the OS to load (Fedora10) but when I do get it up and running I'll post back how it performs. (I'm using a Jetway mobo with a fanless CPU cooler)

@Peterb; m8 can you please elaborate the Pico (PSU/BRICK) part i mean how to decide which PSU/Brick i should opt for above configurations & lemme know how efficient it is if you've checked on your setup

Hi, I have received confirmation in 4 different forums that the Pico PSU is absolutely capable of powering the Zotac 9300 motherboard with a socket 775 dualcore such as the E8400.
If that works fine, then no need to worry ...

The smallest active ultra low profile cpu cooler is just about small enough to fit in.

Quoting prices without VAT, that's cunning of MiTX Warehouse:

M350 = £39.95
Delivery = £6.95
VAT = £7.04

Total = £53.94

Haven't found any online retailer within the UK, even with google. I found a seller on eBay but that was from USA and far too expensive.
Only other acceptable retailer I found was Cartft.com:

M350 (incl VAT) = Euro 49.95 ~ £43.63
Delivery UPS Standard = Euro 13.50 ~ £11.80
----------------------------------------------------
Total = Euro 63.45 ~ £55.43

They do accept PayPal, but I don't know how much PayPal charges to transfer & convert from Euro to pounds.
Might be worth to doublecheck with CarTFT.
