it will be powering a Abit AN-M2HD, 2GB RAM, AM2 4200+ X2, 1 laptop HDD (or maybe a low end SATA drive), a Blue-Ray Drive and a couple of 80mm fans.

User review here http://www.silentpcreview.com/forums...ic.php?t=29247 + a bit of modding.

I bought one a couple of years ago (not sure if what the same model - it was uATX) and it was fine.
I also used an FSP as a replacement for a truly horrible cheap PSU that melted the cables instead of shutting down on a connection fault. When the same fault occured with the FSP - it behaved as one would expect a good PSU to behave - shut itself down.
FSP are OEM mfrs for some of the well known makes anyway - and they seem to have a good reputation. Based on my (limited to two units!) experience, I'd recommend it.

I'd not ask that to run an X2 unless it's ONBOARD graphics.
As soon as you put a PCI express card into the equation, even one that uses just the PCI express power, you're running a gauntlet tbh.

FSP units are pretty good generally speaking. They are one of the bigger OEM's.
It's not poor by any means. EZ-Cool and Q-tec are poor. FSP are well respected.
EZ-COOL ARE POOR ?
Only joking not used that model but FSP is on my personal list of approved PSU ( for what use that is ! )
I would happly try a FSP PSU of any size ( i think i have 3 of the 700 watt ones )

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
