Appreciate Intel LGA775 mATX mobo recommendations
Appreciate if someone could advise me, I have all the parts needed to put a micro atx pc together but struggling to find the right Intel LGA775 motherboard, X58/i7 is out of my price range, will be using the computer as general purpose, a bit of encoding, games, media creation, virtualization etc, running vista, besides being value for money require mobo to have a gigabit lan, esata and pci-e(1 is okay) interfaces.
Already have the following:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 LGA775 'Wolfdale' 3.00GHz
Zalman cpu cooler
Sugo SG01-F case
OCZ 600W Power Supply
ATI Radeon HD 4770
OCZ DDR2 4GB
Blue-ray DVD
Western Digital sata h/d
Thanks in advance.

Hello welcome to Hexus :hexlub:
You could have a look at the Gigabyte GA-EG43M-S2H
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/149238
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...ProductID=2878
that is a g43 chip set and has eSATA on the back
if that's 4x 1gb sticks of ram you'll have problems as very few mATX come with 4 memory slots
Re: Appreciate Intel LGA775 mATX mobo recommendations
Thanks you both for your input, I will probably go for the Gigabyte board, one last question if I removed the need for an esata would that change your recommendation ?

DFI Lan Party board, comes with Crossfire as well so you can stick another one of those 4770's in there and have yourself a mighty fine gaming machine if i say so myself :D

Thanks again for your advice, changed my mind, selling the wolfdale to my mate and buying a msi X58M/i7 instead
