What PSU?
Well my friends looking for a new PSU for this pc hes making out of his own or secondhand parts(for a friend). The build is shaping as the following:
CPU: Intel Pentium D 940
GPU: 9600GT
Ram: 2x1GB DDR2 pc6400
Mobo: Some random abit pro board(doesnt overclock or anything!)
Hard Drive: 250gb AAKS
Random case with some fans
DVD Drive
Now i recommended he look into that 350w Be quiet psu that was on offer at ebuyer but im not sure it would be enough because the cpu has a tdp of 130, gpu has 95w, aaks is probs 10 ad the rest i dont know about so can any give an estimate to what the system would be using and what psu would be suitable? Cheapest possible but reliable!.
Thanks.

Re: What PSU?
Does the 9600GT need a 6 pin connector? I don't think the 350w Be quiet has one.
I would say a 400- 430W PSU to be safe.

Re: What PSU?
This 400w Silverpower should do the job:

Silverpower is part of the same company as Tagan.
If your friend is looking to upgrade the graphics card to something beefier then a Corsair VX450w should do the job:

Re: What PSU?
Corsair VX450w is still a good one, however it's looking a bit pricey now
Definitely something around 400 watts to be on the safe side.
