Hi,
I bought this card and have it installed in my PC. However, I know by SLi, that you do not double your memory.
However, this card is advertised as 1792MB, I have looked in Everest and it says 896MB per card.
Does this mean that I have 896MB of graphics memory or is the Single PCB version different to the Dual PCB/SLI GTX 280/etc...

Nope. Same card as the dual PCB, just it is literally on a Single PCB. In GTAIV I only have 896MB to allocate for example, so it is 896MB of memory per chip. I hope this explains it for, and enjoy the card. I plan to get a water block for mine (assuming no good air blocks come out) within the next 2 months.
Damn, they shouldn't be allowed to get away with advertising 1792MB on the card, sure there is 1792MB but they SHOULD say 896MB per chip.
It's a good card nonetheless, on Dead Space I was getting around 30-60 FPS on my GTX 280 and now 60 FPS constant with higher settings!
I also get double the framerate on Crysis, on higher settings too! :D
That'd be because Crysis tends to handle SLi configurations better. Single a 295 is basicly two 285s on one board, with slightly less enabled cores (unless you go for a Mars, but they cost £1029.99), in SLi (which of course you know).Quote:

It's not noisy unless it's really heavily processing, it tends to make a fairly audible "whirring" noise on Crysis.
My case is a very quiet case (Antec 1200) and this graphics card is the loudest part.
