*** new top of the range laptop ***

Hey all... so it's simple. I'm a videographer and i work with HD footage. I'm looking for a laptop to allow me to work when I'm say, at a wedding in between speeches and the evening reception with 3 hours to kill. Basically I could have the most of the editing done while I'm scratching my ass.

What i need is decent processing (2GHZ+ Dual Core), big ram (3GB+), big graphics (512MB+), blu-ray burner, compact flash slot (optional), reasonable HDD (100GB+)

I know it probably won't be cheap but I don't want to be spending a small fortune.

    Cheers for any ideas guys!

There mobile derivatives for the Core i5 coming out in the next few months so I would be looking at the release date of these too!!

Also AFAIK video encoding is better with quad cores so I would looking at getting a quad core notebook.

Battery life? I'm not too sure how good they are but it's worth looking into

If you are doing encoding battery life is going to be crap anyway and the mains will be the only option unless you own a mobile nuclear power plant that is.................!
