Not me personally ofc, but I know someone who's likely to still be using theirs until at least the beginning of 2012.

I have an i5 mobo here that I bought on a whim from ebay late in 2010 but so far.. I'm still on the Q6700. Mine is a very original QX6700 so while it's unlocked, it's a crap overcloked and likes not a lot more than 2.93 gig.. but for CoD W@W and Black Ops it's still top notch.
So the other mobo sits awaiting.. and it's looking like life is hectic enough to live with the rock hard reliability of the 2.9gig 6700 cpu into next year.....
maybe
Call of Duty isn't really a good advocate for upgrading a processor. While a quad core is probably a good thing for those games, even one as old as the QX6700 can take care of those games at a reasonably adequate frame rate.
It depends on Bulldozer's performance. I was originally planning on replacing my Q6600 with a Sandy bridge processor but the perfromance increase is not enough to be worth it. Either bulldozer will be at least 3 times faster and I'll bite or I'll wait for ivy bridge. Regardless I'm waiting for the 28nm Graphics cards later this year hopefully to replace my Radeon 4870. Looking for at least double its performance and substantially lower idle power consumption.
Well, sandy bridge CPUs are a little over double the speed of a Q6600. To some, that's definitely worth an upgrade, to others it's nowhere near enough. A question of user preference really.
i say this every year.... but i will be upgrading later this year :D
My main PC is already a core i7. But my server currently contains an original conroe core 2 duo (E6600). I'm hoping to upgrade it to an i5 some time this year, it will probably then become an overpowered NAS. It will eventually get re-married with one of my spare 6600GTs and become a working PC again. Plenty of utility in the core 2 range yet.
I plan on keeping mine until it needs to be replaced.
So far, not really had any problems, still using the same parts as when I got the Q6600 as it is.
Only currently planned upgrade is to replace the P35 motherboard with a P45 one, should help it last longer if I upgrade the graphics card from the current 8800GT.
I'm pretty happy with my Q6600, I think a graphics upgrade is in order before I even think about replacing such a reliable and powerful CPU
