First question is what data package are you going to get, if your going to use it for email / web every day your going to need some kind of bolt on for the data. One thing I have heard is that you can get an iphone PAYG sim, put credit on it, and shove it in another phone, you then get a years data free!

A bolt on is an O2 term, basically just a special add on for cheap texts, minutes or data.

T-Mobile does PAYG internet access, either £1 a day or £15 for 30 days... or something like that anyway.

I would doubt the "years free data" Flibb sugested, I couldn't even find any information on the iPhone PAYG SIM on the O2 site.

(This thread would have been better in the Mobile phones and accessories forum)

For one second the title of this thread sounded like one of those spam ones!!

T-Mobile does "unlimited" internet on its pay as you go phones for £2.50 for a 5 day period:

I am very surprised at that. I can't see O2 being too happy about it.

Re: Best mobile web phones, PDA's, Android, Micro PC's

The later version of the wind does, as does
    http://www.handtec.co.uk/product.php?xProd=1528

the sim should work, a friend uses one, but in theory it could be cut off if O2 decided to ence the EULA.

if you google netbooksm you should find which models have onboard modems. I just plug my netbook in to my phone, again against the rules but I dont use it too much, and havent had aproblem in 2 years of doing it.

Very interesting with the iPhone sim, it would be really annoying if O2 cut it off just after you got one though.
