Northbridge water cooling

I plan on purchasing this motherboard for an upgrade to core i7 (possibly core i9):

I wish to OC the CPU (i7 920 D0) as much as possible, aiming for at least 4GHz. This means I must have the base clock reach at least 200Mhz.

Due to the way the system has been restructured with the new architecture for core i7, I do not know what the implications could be for the NB (if that's what it is still called). Is it still the NB that will get very hot when overclocking the base clock?

If this is the case, then should I go for water cooling for north bridge?

I've had a look for a while now, but I cannot find any kits specifically for cooling northbridge chips. I'm planning on using the Corsair H50 for my CPU, due to it's simplicity (and there being less chance of a leak).

For me to get the i7 to 4GHz I have the following procedure:

1. Boot into BIOS
2. Go to MIT
3. Change multiplier from 19 to 20.

So no, you don't have to watercool anything. You don't even need to watercool the CPU to get to 4.0GHz, though you might want to in order to get to 4.2GHz.

A decent cooler, a TRUE or a Megahalems for example, and some decent fans, Noctua P12s maybe, and you're all set. Don't forget some AS5 or MX2.

From the reviews of watercooling systems I have seen, the northbridge only needs to be actively cooled above 220MHz base, which doesn't nessicitate a water block, but usually implies it as the CPU will be cooled with water as well to achieve those kinda speeds.
