    Question Some Questions On Sound

    Hello.

Well, i'm looking at the amp and bookshelf speaker setup for my PC, and have a few problems. I cant find anywhere that sell stuff like that! Can someone point me in the right direction? And i have about £150-£200 for this and would possibly like at least a 4 speaker or a 4.1 setup, if not, can deal with 2 speakers until i have the money to buy another 2...do i have enough? Also, any products you'd recommend? Thanks in advance

Are the speakers good for bass?(The Mission ones) I dont need floor shaking bass, just would completely hate it if they were just full treble. Just need a bit of punchy bass. And to do a surround sound setup, do i need more than one amp? Thanks again

best thing to do is find a local audio specialist shop and go in and have a listen, then once you've found what you like, look for it cheaper on the net

Right, decided to go for 2 floorstanding speaker and an amp for my first part of this. But for the bookshelf speakers that will be going at the back of me will i need another amp? Coz i havent found an amp that will support more than 2 speakers in my budget range. Thanks again

if you have a soundcard that has a 4/5/6 channel output then yes, you can get a stereo amp for the front pair of speakers and another stereo amp for the rear speakers.

would most probably be better in the long run if you had a sound card with a digital coaxial output and then a surround sound amp which powered all your speakers though.
