Um, my primary headphone setup is an AKG-701 powered by an headphone amp (I also note that I went with the Elite Pro model which has better DACs compared to the rest of the X-Fi series). Not exactly an entry-level setup, but the AKG-701 uses angled drivers. And you've previously commented that that there is a lack of synergy between Dolby Headphones and angled drivers headphones which is a bit unfortunate.

Yeah sorry, it's been a while since I used anything with angled drivers. With Dolby Headphone it can sound rather too narrow and distant. It may suit some but if you already find you hear a frontal headstage, DH will mess with it more than CMSS-3D.
