    Heatsink for a SN41G2

    Hi all,

I'm building a simple system for the parents, so a shuttle would fit the bill nicely.
looking at a barton 2500, and im wondering if anyone can tell me if a ThermalRight SK-7 (with 80mm fan) can fit in a SN41G2?

I'd rather not use the stock cooler unless i have to.

    TIA!

Could I ask the obvious?.......whats wrong with the stock cooling system?.......in my experience it will handle anything that you throw at it.

The stock cooler is designed for that system. An SK7 will not fit.

to be honest all the stock systems I've used before were crap - admittedly i've never tried shuttles interpretation, but i like to go with what i know

Cheers Caged, stock it is then!

the ICE system works absolutely fine for me. The temps may be high but the speed variable fan sorts that out.

Shuttles heatsink is designed for the job and it does it well tbh, unless you take the drive cage out theres no way an sk-7 is gonna fit
