I seem to remember when Samsung F1s first came out they could be a bit temperamental about certain motherboards, the particular SATA port being used, and other hardware attached to the same controller. For example, there were quite a few posts on the (now defunct) Abit forums regarding F1s misbehaving with the IP-35 Pro in certain configurations, although I've never personally experienced anything untoward.

I don't know if it's still an issue, as motherboards have moved on and the drives themselves will probably have different firmware now, but I guess the possibility is always there even if it's rather remote.

They should all follow the 'standards', you shouldn't have any problem.

Yeah, alot of reported issues with certain Sata ports so I just wanted to be 100% certain before I ordered.

I'm using two SATA HD502IJs on a P35 Gigabyte motherboard and they work fine.
