    Themostatic fan controler

    Hi

I am after a simple thermostatic fan controller without a front panel mount. Basically something I can plug my case fans into, connect to my power supply and dial in a temperature, and then have it quietly sit in a dusty corner of my case and adjust the fan speed so that the case temp stays reasonable, while keeping the fans as quiet as possible.

I would have thought that it would be simple, but I can't find anything. The only product I could find is the long discontinued Cobalt3 Pyramid V+ Fan Controller from QuietPC, and a very expensive and unreasonable complex replacement

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

The fan speed is controlled manually. I want something that will monitor the internal case temperature and control the fan speed automatically.

I also see that Quiet PC have a PWM fan that will share PWM control so that several PWM fans can be daisy chained from the one 4 pin PWM motherboard header.

I will investigate the PWM options in my BIOS to see if I prefer the fan to directly control it's speed, or for them to work via the BIOS.

    Thanks for the links
