I dont think your supposed to run seperately branded cards in SLi
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

It'll run fine mate, the brand doesn't matter, and if the clock speeds are different, both will run at the speed of the slowest.

But just FYI, in my opinon SLI isn't worth the hassle.

Re: question about adding another graphic card to my mother!!need advice!!thanks!

I think identical GPUs also work OK together like the 4870 and 4850 but, again, the slower speed will be used on both. Don't quote me on that though because I'm not entirely sure.
I agree with GSte in that SLI isn't worth the hassle - not speaking from experience but from benchmarks I've seen it rarely makes much of a difference. If a game runs fine, say 60fps, adding a second card might up that to 80fps but you wouldn't notice the difference really except maybe in parts where there's lots happening which drags the fps down. If a game is unplayable/jerky with one card, adding a second rarely improves it to a playable level. Hope this helps

Sell your card and buy a faster one (4890 or something). While your board supports SLI it doesn't mean you have to use it, as tempting as it is

Been there and done it, single card solutions are still the way to go in my opinion, although the drivers are getting much better

brand is irrelevent. You can run a SC model with an OS model of different brand. All that matters is the GPU
