    AMD 785G mobo for < £50

    Ebuyer are currently selling an AM2+ / DDR2 sporting MSI motherboard, based on the new 785G chipset, for only £47.61. The feature-set enhancements over 780G make this an ideal HTPC product, and the SB710 southbridge provides the potential to unlock disabled cores of certain Sempron / Athlon II / Phenom II processors. Looks like a bargain to me

    I've got the mATX version of the ASUS EVO and the 785G chipset seems very stable and capable. I don't use it to watch HD though, so I can't really comment on its BluRay capabilities, but it's had no problems with DVD playback and is fine for low-resolution gaming (1280x768) - I'm playing games ~ 3 - 5 years old with full IQ at that res. I imagine MSIs implementation is equally capable.
