So I finally finished my media centre build,

Computer guts everywhere, looks to be like it's just the PSU.
Slight dilemma, I can't seem to find another PSU that will fit..
It measures roughly 4.7cm deep, 8.5cm wide, 6cm tall
Are these a certain type obtaniable somewhere else?
Would really like a decent make with a warranty after this mishap.
Needs to be 24 pin and Sata compliant.
Basically needs to be able to cope with the build in the first post.
The dead PSU is a "LR-FLX300W".

You said it's a microATX case? Maybe it's a microATX PSU? You could post details of the PSU that went, it might help to establish what kind you require? Is it a new case? If so, why not return it for a replacement?

The case came off Ebay and there has been no changes to the finish.Sorry to here about the PSU death

The seller had gotten it as a sample, although it says on the listing it comes with a 12 month warranty I don't hold much hope of getting a replacement.

i know this may sound stupid but was the psu set to run on 110v because if it was thats why it went up in smoke, i seen it happen before
Was the first thing i checked before plugging it all in, I probably should of tested everything before installing though.
Never got a reply about the case/psu, still waiting on it..
Whinged alot and my dad decided to lend me the money so I've ordered a new case and psu that should arrive tuesday.
It's kinda the same form, slim and vertical..
I'll post some more pics when it's all together
Will test it out of the case first too!
