Looking for a quiet micro ATC psu...

Can any one point me in the direction of a fairly quiet 250 to 300w micro atx power supply please?

I have been searching the internet, but can't find anything with any recommendations.

There are a few on ebay that claim to be quiet, but I'm not yet convinced.

    Cheers

Here are some fanless PSUs but they are not cheap:

    The FSP300-60GLS looks interesting:

    It is not too expensive:

If you don't need too much power a picoPSU 150w may do the job too.

Thanks. Think I'll get one of those (FSP300-60GLS), and if it's still not quiet enough for me I'll mod it with a low noise fan

If you can't find reviews, I usually use the Newegg site to get customer reviews of a product. They have one for the FSP unit.

I was also looking into the Seasonic Eco 300W, but cannot find anyone in the UK who stocks it.

Thanks for that about New Egg...good to know.

I'd heard that Seasonic did a good mATX psu, but also couldn't find one in the UK.

I'll post what the FSP is like once I get it (gonna order in the morning now that I have 20 posts, hence free postage from Scan )

Re: Looking for a quiet micro ATC psu...

Just seen some more PSUs which would do the job.

It come as part of this case for under £30:

    http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?W...source=froogle

I would probably have a quick check with Scan to make sure about the PSU in case they have changed it.

Another PSU would be this Seasonic:

Re: Looking for a quiet micro ATC psu...

Just updating this old thread with info on what looks to be a good quiet micro atx psu, as when I was enquiring a while ago there didn't seem to much around at all.

Be Quiet SFX 300W MicroATX PSU

    BeQuiets page

Fortunately I still need to get one, so have one of these on order

Hope this may be of use to others.
