    My E4500 clocked to 3.3ghz, was very impressed, sidewards upgrade to an E5200, which did 3.15 stable, needed a lot of volts for 3.3... That is what nailed my intel coffin, back to AMD and have an unlocked x3 720 at 3.5ghz, and its faster than i need, even at 2.8 it doesnt limit my gfx card.

    That is my experience exactly.

    But I then dumbly made another sideways move to the E7200 at 3.4ghz max!

    I too will be getting the x3 720 BE.
