No point in giving you any suggestions now, by the time you read these posts, the price of ram could have gone up or down by then.....
He has a point and with an athlon theres no chance of you needing 3500 memory anyway mate.
Depends? Might hit 217Mhz fsb with an unlocked Athlon...
I had corsair pc3500 and it was pretty decent, oc-z are fairly good now I think.
I'm doing 237fsb on an Athlon XP & there are guys all the way up into 280+
Aye I thought AMD's were more capable than 200 fsb :)
At the very least if you get some good PC3500 and end up with a 200 fsb, you can get some nice tight timings :)
Not necesssarily. According to the Corsair website the ram is engineered to optimise either speed or latency and they dont guarantee fast memory to run tighter latencies than listed even when running at lower speeds.Quote:
