    PCI-E 6-pin to PCI-E 8-pin

    Hi,

I got my GTX 295 today, and was about to replace my old SLI setup.
    Then I saw it needs a 6-pin PCI-E and a 8-pin.
Got a Corsair HX620, and this has only 2x 6-pin.
    No adapter in the package.

Anybody know where I could get one of these real quick?
It is weekend I know, but I want to get it running now.

I checked Novatech, as their Shop is close to me, but there is only a 6-pin adapter on the webpage.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Re: PCI-E 6-pin to PCI-E 8-pin

best thing to do is to contact Corsair (start a thread in the corsair section )
ok you'll not get it this weekend but I'd be surprised if they don't supply you with a correct lead.

for getting it "right now" you're only option is to leg it down to a local pc shop before they close and hope they have what you need.

I've got a 2-molex to 8-pin adaptor if you could borrow until you get sorted. I'm based in Newbury so drop me a PM if you are interested

As mentioned Corsair will send you one but it could take a while. Check out this thread: http://forums.hexus.net/cases-psus/1...ar-cables.html

    Re: PCI-E 6-pin to PCI-E 8-pin

I ordered one now, should be here on Monday.
    Tried several shops, no success.
Have to stick with the old setup for now, it there wasn't a problem.

    Thanks for the help
