    Multi-Touch Tablets - alternative to XT/TX2?

    Hey,

I am looking at changing my laptop(s) this month, and moving from using a combination of my EEEPC and my macbook, to a single laptop that is "somewhere in the middle", yet still faster than both.

I've decided on a 12" notebook as the replacement, which is at the limit for "workability" imo whilst still being nice and small/light for portability.

The slight issue is that after looking around a bit, I have decided that I would really love a multi-touch tablet aha..after I spotted first the HP Tx2 notebooks, and then the Dell Lattitute XT(/2). Both of them look great imo, and are specced well enough for my needs. They both contain the N-Trig digitizer which is the important thing, as this is a "proper" multi-touch digitizer which works very very nicely with Win7

I cannot find any other convertable tablets that contain this (or a competiting) digitizer though - every other one seems to be traditional single input touch. There are a few slates that have it but I need a keyboard as well

    Anything I have missed?

I may well end up getting a 2nd hand Lattitute XT or XT2 next week, as i'm struggling the find the Tx2 in the UK atm..but any other suggestions are welcome They look to cost about £500-600 depending on spec.

Oh and if you are interested in an eeepc 900 or 2006 white macbook, check the price checking/FS thread on its way here soon lol..

Have you tried using any of them in the flesh?

    A TX2

Brilliant little machine, perfect size for me Got a bit of a play when at a trade show earlier this year.

I've seen an XT but never actually used one..
