    16cm deep 5.25" DVD-RW drive non-slimline ?

Is there any IDE or SATA DVD-RW/Blueray combi optical drive measuring no more than 16cm deep? Or not more than 16cm deep at the base if it has a raised upper section that continued past 16cm (see picture below for what I'm getting at)

I suspect I'm going to have to look at a slimline option and a drive bay adapter. Then also need suggestions for bay adapters that have a solid front except for the hole for optical drive. Preferrably silver.

I'm not considering cutting anything. As I can fit a raised bump in the back area of optical bay to prevent drive resting on passive heatsink.

    Re: 16cm deep 5.25" DVD-RW drive non-slimline ?

Doesn't look like there's any under 17cm deep, so slimline option it is. At leats I can pick a slot loading slimline drive if I fancy it.

Can anyone recommend a single slimline to 5.25" bay adapter? Not found any apart from the Plextor 2x optical unit and a unbranded 2x optical unit not in stock at Kustompc. Preferably silver, or a material that accepts spray paint easily.
