    Cool Thoughts on MSI P55-GD65

    Hi,

I got this board on a good deal 55% off limited promotion on launch day, so I payed £63.

Regardless of this i have never used an MSI board before and am wondering if it is a good choice, any thoughts?

    Thanks allot.

    Re: Thoughts on MSI P55-GD65

I've used MSI motherboards on and off for a while, they can be good they can be bad depends on the motherboard and chipset.
The MSI P35-NEO2 which I currently use is a very good mid range p35 chipset motherboard.
The MSI P43-Neo3 was not so good.

It's all a bit too new to tell yet, however the GD65 is not MSI's bottom end board so it should be good, esp for a mid range, first time user motherboard.

Finger crossed, I could always sell it, for possibly even more than I payed for it.

I hope you didn't buy it from Scan.

PS. The one click OC is good reason to buy this board and have a play at OC'ing an i5 750.

    Re: Thoughts on MSI P55-GD65

Tech Report include the GD65 in their P55 motherboard roundup (I can't post URLs yet, somebody else please post it). It seems to come out pretty well (especially if you managed to get it for £63). I'm hoping my final components will arrive tomorrow so I can do my own GD65 build. I've been looking out for GD65 reviews - be sure to post them here if you spot any more.
