    ASUS 1156 boards

I am struggling to find much of a discernable difference between the entery level asus boards and the top of the lone p7 ones. Asus has released about 9 boards for Lynnfield and if they all return pretty much identical results they sure are gonna look stupid!

Most of what you pay extra is for the features, such as the gimmicky overclocking remote although normally the higher boards can reach a slightly higher FSB. The P7P55D Deluxe can get the i5 750 to over 4GHz but I'm not sure my MSI P55-GD65 can (although obviously that isn't an Asus-Asus comparison).

    Re: ASUS 1156 boards

It jsut seems a bit overkill with the 6 identical looking boards :S
