    Non-RAID SATA card

    Hi All,
    I'm upgrading my home NAS, and I'm after a basic SATA card. Ideally 6-8 ports. It doesn't have to do hardware RAID, as I'll be doing Linux softraid (in case the mobo goes pop). Can anyone recommend anything?

    best solution would be one of these

    by default it will just show the non raided drives

    Hmm. I already have 6 SATA headers on the motherboard, so 2 of those would be groovy. Now to see if they're supported by OpenFiler.....
