    New Laptop Advice

I'm thinking about replacing my current PC and my netbook with one machine, preferably a laptop.

Ideally I would like it to be as small as possible but also as powerful as possible. I'd like a screen size 14" or less with a discrete graphics card that could conceivably run some newer games like fallout 3. It's primary purpose though would be development using Visual Studio, plus all the other normal tasks. I'd also like the oportunity to get a docking station so i could use it like a PC if necessary in an office environment. For now budget is flexible, but maybe an upper limit of £1000 ish.

Are there any machines that cover these points, or am I being too hopeful for the budget?

    Many Thanks

    Andy

I think your budget is more than enough, you problem will be size / heat. Most gaming laptops are desktop replacements at 17".
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.
