    Intel P35 compatibility

Simple question, but I can't find a list of compatible CPUs for Intel's P35 chipset.
I've currently got a E7300, but I have NO idea what higher spec CPUs will work on this chipset.
Is it a case of all LGA775 CPUs working on this chipset?

    Thanks

    Nick

Assuming you are talking about the Abit IP35 Pro in your sig, you need to check on the Abit website which BIOS supports which cpu [link].

You may also need to update the BIOS to support certain steppings 'E0' for example.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

    Re: Intel P35 compatibility

Yes it depends on the manufactor & BIOS but basically the P35 chipset can currently use All socket775 processors.

What are you thinking of going to?
And you should be able to get a nice performance boost out of that e7300 with a spot of overclocking
Heck last time I used the IP35 on the first boot up it detected the cpu correctly then automatically bumped the FSB up 10mhz
