Guys. And girls.
A little help please. If you check out my sig, you'll see my HTPC, which is running vista, and connected by home plug network to my server, from whence I stream all my DVD backups and AVI files, running Media Browser in Media Centre on the HTPC. It works well.
However, the case it big. And now I've discovered the wonder of ITX systems, which have teeny tiny cases. So I might put together an ITX HTPC set up.
HOWEVER, would an ITX setup be able to cope with VIDEO_TS type contents, being 1tb VOBS, coming through on the network? I don't think transmission speeds over the network would be a problem, but I'm just wondering if the ITX could cope. Again, given that there are S775 ITX boards, I can't see a problem.
Basically, I realise that unless I go for a low end, built in Atom processor one, it SHOULDN'T be an issue, and even then probably not, but I wanna make sure. And I suppose my current HTPC is a bit overpowered for what it actually does.
Oh, and what about the inbuilt graphics on ITX? I'd better look that up...
