Hey,
Im speccing some laptops for the office, they'll mainly be used for email, office apps and autocad lt but will occasionally be required to do some fairly heavy engineering calculations.
15" screen is preferable as is 3GB RAM (any more would be wasted as will be running 32-bit).
So far there are 2 contenders:
HP Probook 4510s
C2D T6570 2.1GHz
3GB RAM
15.6 widescreen 1366x768
Intel GMA x4500HD graphics
Best Price £547.73
OR
HP Probook 4515s
AMD Turion X2 RM-76 2.3GHz
3GB RAM
15.6 widescreen 1366x768
Radeon HD3200 graphics
Best Price £458.79
My question, is it worth investing the extra for the C2D? Notebookcheck.net suggests the C2D is a much better peice of kit, numbers 59 & 90 in their mobile processors benchmark list.
Or alternatively are there any other systems you can suggest for a similar price, I really like HP hardware and would prefer to stick with them if possible.
Thanks in advance
Pranksta
