hi people.

ive recently started my first ever overclock and to start with things were going fantastic. i hit 3.4GHz with only very mild adjustments to the vcore, and thats about it. now however, im trying to get 3.5GHz, it boots up fine, but occt gives up within 5 mins everytime no matter wat i try to do........

system is as follows

e6700 C2D lapped (2.66GHz stock) @ 10 x 350
gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3LR
Corsair XMS2 2x2GB 800MHz 5-5-5-18 (TWIN2X4096-6400C5C)
Akasa Nero HSF

ive tryed increasing the vcore 5 notches (from the 1.41875v it took for 3.4GHz to 1.45v)

tryed running the ram on both 333MHz and 400MHz straps @ 2.00B and 2.00D so @ 700MHz (this part kinda confuses me tho) also running relaxed timings (6-6-6-25)

set cpu PLL up a notch to 1.65v

set MCH core to 1.4v (but put it back a bit now)

Load Line calibration is currently enabled
all the power saving fetures (C1E EIST and TM2) are disabled
pci-e clock set to 100MHz

temps are around 55c if my room gets hot with the new, higher vcore

is there anything else i can try to get a bit more out of this system???? while 3.4GHz isnt to bad @ all, im sure its got more because it didnt take much to get it there.

any help is appreciated, thanks
