Radiator after pump or after waterblocks?

I was wondering which was better.
If the Radiator is just after the pump, it will cool down the water on its way to the blocks, but the heated water from the blocks would sit in the resevoir and thus heat up the resevoir and maybe someother stuff. If the Rad is just after the blocks, it will cool down the heated water coming from the blocks but then, the cooled water would sit in the resevoir and if the case temp is high, wouldn't the water heat up again and you'd have warm water running through the blocks?
So, what you think?
How have you lot got your w/cing system setup?

block > rad > res > pump

I have block>rad>res>pump and it works quite well, keeps my 2.8C@3.4 (1.6V) at 42'C under Prime95

pump > block > rad > res :D

It just makes sense, you pump water to the blocks to cool them, then you cool the water in the rad before sending it back to the res to settle
