    Best way to clean monitor?

    Got a dell lcd monitor, weird marks where I tryed to clean it -> doesn't help. Seen Kits recommended for £12, any cheaper way of doing this??

    I use this £5 kit from Maplin. Works brilliantly and gets into the corners properly.

    Damp toilet roll with a little drop of washing up liquid does me. Can't see any gain in spending cash on the 'specialist' cleaning fluids and stuff that do exactly the same thing, and with more or less the same ingredients.

    I use camera lense cleaner on mine if its dirty, but usually its just dust so a dry MF does the job.

    Even a damp MF works great for cleaning too tho, sometimes cleaning chemicals streak on the screen...

    I used one of the cloths that the opticians give you, and a tiny bit of water. Did the job better than anything else I tried, although I've no idea if its the best way.

    turns out my mum had an iphone cleaning kit (although she doesn't have an iphone :S)
    So that worked a treat, iklear incase anyone else wants to buy it.
