Can any of you nice people find the best possible laptop for £500-600 as I am more of a desktop man and don't have much knowledge of laptops.

I'm in a similar boat looking for one myself but tbh it depends on what your gonna need it for
- Note Taking
- Coursework
- Casual Gaming
- Multiple OS's (Windows 7, OSX86, and Ubuntu)
Ideally I don't need an OS or Software pre-installed as I already have the operating systems and know how to install them so I was hoping that might save some cash.
I'm really just looking for the best performance for the best price.
I'll basically have it plugged in when playing hardcore games, and unplugged when doing school work.
*bump*
Dell 1545 are really good, I bought one and yeah its comes with 4GB & big hard drive, Cheap and fast. Loaded Windows 7 and its been running really good, You can get one for £499 or on ebay for £350
Not bad I just checked the specifications on that dell but I think I've found it:

That trumps everything I've seen so far.
