    Lightbulb Best laptop for £500-600

    Can any of you nice people find the best possible laptop for £500-600 as I am more of a desktop man and don't have much knowledge of laptops.

    Ideally I don't need an OS or Software pre-installed as I already have the operating systems and know how to install them so I was hoping that might save some cash.

    Are you going to be lugging it around a lot?

    15.4" is standard small laptop size, but I find it too big for typical so-called "laptop use", and will probably sell my Studio 15 and replace it with a 13" or smaller before I go to uni.

    I'm really just looking for the best performance for the best price.

    I'll basically have it plugged in when playing hardcore games, and unplugged when doing school work.

    Dell 1545 are really good, I bought one and yeah its comes with 4GB & big hard drive, Cheap and fast. Loaded Windows 7 and its been running really good, You can get one for £499 or on ebay for £350
