    Enough power?

Yes, another "Is my PSU big enough" thread.

I'm looking at purchasing the Corsair HX850 to power the following:

    -i7 920 (@4.4GHz 1.4v?)
    -Asus R2E
    -3xDDR3@1.65V
    -8800 Ultra (OC'ed)
    -Sound card+I/O console
    -11 fans (watercooling )
    -2 optical+1 floppy drive
    -2 hard drives
    -Laing D5 pump

    Will it be enough?

I've used the PSU calculator here:

    http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp

And it's coming out as only just enough.

    Re: Enough power?

I just ran it and it gave me a total of 586 wats and my 580 runs my watercooled rig fine with no problems.

You should be fine with the 850
