I thought i would make a thread on my upcoming watercooled Mini ITX build, specs:

Lian Li PC-Q07B
Core 2 Duo T9400 2.53GHZ
4GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX 1066MHZ
Commell LV-67B Socket P Mobo
Sapphire HD4670 512MB Ultimate
500GB Seagate 7200.12
Optiarc 7670S Sata DVD-RW
FSP 150W Brick

Water loop:

2 x Black Ice Micro 80mm rads
2M of 3/8 UV orange TFC tubing
UV orange Feser One
EK 100 res
EK NB 2 northbridge block
EK NB 5 northbridge block (will be my cpu block)
EK DCP 2.2 6.5w pump

Sure, your looking at about £600 quids worth of components just in the pictures. the rest of the components is probably about £300 ish

Where did you pick up the commell board from? I've only found a couple of stockists and their darn expensive. Also any chance of finding out what sort of power draw the board has with on board grafics?

I got mine from ICP UK which has now been renamed to http://www.steatite-embedded.co.uk/ , yes they are damn expensive but worth it i will get you a power useage figure with the onboard when im rebuilding it .

great project - I've recently started taking an interest in mini-itx myself - just built one as a server, and currently specing up another to build in a 2u 19" rack. (2u because it needs a HH tape drive)..

However, given that mini-itx is a small form factor, the watercooling parts will be the largest components in there - although looking at teh case (it is good looking) size isn't your main reason for doing this. Still fascinating though, and those small precision made components really are objects of beauty!

Looking forward to seeing the finished project!

It was really late last night by the time i got the watercooling in so heres a couple of pics i took will upload the rest later:

Well here it is all installed, the dvd drive and hard drive are just chucked in there atm still thinking on those of what to do, the loop is stupidly good as you can see from the pics the rads have no fans on, mainly due to the 25mm ones being to thick and me needing some 10 or 15mm ones, a few hours gaming and my cpu had a max load temp of 35 'C and the northbridge 42'C so i will be adding the GPU to the loop shortly, with some fans on it will be able to cope easily.











Sorry bout the pics and theres not that many, theres not alot to take a pic of , oh also the orange coolant in the res shows up a manky green with a black background and anyone thinking of doing something like this i hope you have the patience of a saint, oh also anyone thinking of doing water cooling DONT USE TFC TUBING its sucks.

Only just seen this (via a Google search). Want to say I really like what you've done, Breezey.

Which graphics card were (are?) you using? That heatsink looks quite bulky for an ITX build.
