    problem with board and cpu help please

    i have a Gigabyte M750SLi-DS4 board and just added a AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 940 Black Edition 3.00GHz (Socket AM2+) - Retail , fitted ok powered on and no screen on monitor no bios sound any ideas?

    You may need to drop your older PSU back on and see if there is a BIOS update for the board. It may not support the chip with the current BIOS version that your running.

    never flashed the bios before and board is well over 2 years old , is it easy to flash sorry i am new to this
