cheap sdram for a 500mhz or 800mhz pc

i need some cheap and reliable sdram for a pentium 3 500-800mhz pc. do i need pc133 or pc100? will either work if wrong?were to buy etc.

depends what cpu u got !

if its 800mhz it could possibly be a p3 - then run on a 133 bus - need pc133

cud be a celly, and run on a 100 bus, pc100

or a 600mhz celly - and run on a 66 bus


SDRAM is backward compat so go with PC133 to be safe

its a pentium 3. and ur sure that if i get newer ram than whats meant for it, it will still run fine?

yup, either pc133 should do the job, iirc 800mhz = 6.5*133 on a p4, so PC133 SDRAM is needed
