Spec me a psu

Ok i'll put my hands up and admit i am an utter newb to the world of mitx and as such have very little idea of what rating power supply i need.

So my question is what PSU would be required to power this mobo: -

and a single 2.5" hdd and slim dvdrw?


Bear in mind the Ion board does require a 24way header and a 4 way ATX connection so i am not sure if those pico psu's that plug directly into the mobo would suffice as they don't have the 4 way atx so i would need some kind of adapters for that and the drives which are both sata, i have done some homework myself, honest . So i guess i need a "proper" but smaller psu, question is what sort of power rating?

Linkies to any psu's you deem suitable would be greatly appreciated.

Has a 12V aux plug for graphics.

The review for that board you linked to claimed that his system with three 2.5" drives took less than 100W, so that PSU should be more than enough.

I would go for a picoPSU too but make sure that you get a 150W AC power adaptor too:

That AC adaptor has a 20V output - the pico PSU I linked to has a 12V input. The output plug on the 20V PSU is not compatible with the pico-PSU either.

This one is 12V out and I think the connector is compatible
