My cooling fan on my psu has started to sound very loud.
Any recommendations on a good 140mm replacement fan?

OP - this perhaps? Looks like decent airflow and fairly quiet:

I brought over the PSU from my last build, and it seems to be running fine. I don't want to hijack the thread, as I know how annoying that can be, though is my current PSU really sufficient, given the i7 overclock and the mildly overclocked GTX280?
Surely your PSU is still under waranty? See if you can RMA it for being noisy.
Is it very dusty? A quick vacuum might help.
The psu is still under warranty but I am the second owner.
As for using a 1k power supply ?????
I am running
920 @ 4.1Ghz
TWO 280 GTX cards with big overclocks
4 x 1 TB hard drives
2 x 18watt water pumps
10 x 120mm fans
collettnj
The power supply that you are using should not be a problem as the extra hard drives you are going to add to the system will make very little difference to your overall requirements.
As for me purchasing the corsair, I wanted to make it future proof and did not want to purchase another PSU when I have the next upgrade.
