    Printer for 300 gsm Card?

I'm aware that HP do one, a Photosmart B91 something, but it's really for printing important pieces of artwork up to 800 gsm and that's totally not what I'm looking for. It has 8 inkjet cartridges which will be way too expensive, and is far too large (A3+) as well.

What I need is a printer that will print onto 300 gsm (or potentially even thicker) card at no bigger than A4 size, and it doesn't really need to do anything else. Colour isn't particularly important, but would be good to have, and laser would be best, but again it's not essential.

I've looked at a few manufacturers but I haven't really come up with anything yet - I guess budget is also important, and hence we're talking perhaps £1000 as a top limit. I'm half tempted to believe that it doesn't exist, but if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them!

    hi,
I saw this post and wanted to give my suggestion. Though it is an old post. It might be usefull for someone.

This is the most apt printer for your requirement.

    Epson Stylus R1900

    Epson Cartridges

    Epson Sheets

P.S: For best results always use Epson products in a Epson printer.
