    Question Corsair H50 Cooling - Does the intake fan have an adverse effect on cooling?

    As some will know I'm looking for a new build and I'm considering two components for my cooling. They are:

    Noctua NH-U12P

    Corsair CWCH50-1 Water Cooler

    I'd be using either of these in the Obsidian 800D.

    The Corsair H50 would normally deliver greater cooling but my concern is it changes the air flow within the case itself. An exit fan on the case would be changed for an intake.

    Results from this link prove it to be an issue, which practically negates the extra cost of the component.

    Obviously I don't like just relying on a single source for my info so I was wondering what peoples thoughts were? Anybody have experience with this setup?
