    They looks reasonable to me - the 8300 should be about on a par with your X600 but use less power, so all in all that's a decent choice. Presumably that also came in a bit under budget?

    Trying to install the heatsink, does it matter which way its fitted? can fit two ways:

    Its symmetrical, doesnt make a difference, one way will be easier, retention clip on right hand side.

    erm...so it makes no difference? after I cliped it in (either way) heatsink is tight and very unlikely to move, which is what I want? guess I will have to find out
