A m8 of mine wacked a loada stuff on a DVD for me. Trouble is, i cant read it. My DVD drive won't pick it up as in the drive. I've tried in another DVD drive with the same problem. The person that sent it me says he tried it in another m8s DVD drive, and it worked fine. Im guessing that for some reason it can only be read in DVD burners. Anyone know a fix?

Try a lens cleaner, otherwise maybe a firmware update for your drive is available.

Where would i look for the firm ware updates? It didnt work in the other DVD drive where other data discs did work, so fairly sure its not the lens.
Well optical drives can get arsey with burnt media, and cleaning the lens can sometimes help.
Look to the drive manufacturer's site for firmware.
