Decent 2.1 Speakers around £35
I need a decent set of 2.1 speakers to replace my sony home cinema kit as when i've moved I wont have the computer in close proximity to them any more so am looking for a decent set of 2.1 speakers as a replacement to go on a desk. Any suggestions? I like the look of the ligitech x230's but am open to any others ppl suggest

I was in the same situation a few weeks ago after I accidently destroyed my T40's and decided to go for a dedicated sub this time. I eventually plumped up the extra for the Logitech Z4's over the X-230's, I think for me the extra sound power justified the extra £10 or so.
The X-230s are decent enough though.

i do like the look of those but not sure if i can justify the extra expense really as only really need them for gaming but cant break the bank with moving house :s
Re: Decent 2.1 Speakers around £35
I have a set of Logitech X230s. They are a good set of speakers; plenty loud enough - I have never had the sub at over half power, and it still provides good explosions :D Generally good sound too - no complaints really.
The newer X240s are cheaper (by about £5), but that's because they aren't multiple driver in the satellites, although I suspect they'll still be fine for gaming. I heard that they don't go as loud though, if that's important to you.
