HDMI switch?
My monitor unfortunately only has one HDMI port, and rather than keep having to unplug one, and plus in another every time I want to use something different, I'm thinking it might be worth getting a HDMI switch.
Requirements:
- HDCP Support
- Control signal support (DVI, which I would assume using either a DVI-HDMI cable or the ATI DVI-HDMI adapter would count as) so that the PC can be used with it and doesn't end up with it saying 'No Input Signal'.
- Supports 1920x1200
- Audio Support (so it obviously keeps the audio in the signal if I'm using the PS3 or the ATI DVI-HDMI adapter with the PC).
- Allows manual switching (as I'd most likely still be running the PC when on the PS3)
I'd assume I would only need a 2-port switch as I only have the PS3 and PC to plug into it, but I could be open to a 3-port switch in case I were to ever get a 3rd HDMI enabled device in future.
So, any suggestions on ones that would fit my criteria, and preferably as cheap as possible?
Thanks :)

Re: HDMI switch?
Dude.
Think about it.
It's just an electrical switch, it's not doing anything clever. Any switch will work for all purposes, as if you had connected two leads together physically. I have one of these and I use it to connect my PC and PS3 to my projector.
If you bought a really expensive one which was doing post-processing or something, it might have compatibility issues but a regular one will just work.

Re: HDMI switch?
I was mainly asking due to the fact that a DVI switch I bought and tried once, had the problem of not passing the PC control signal through, so I assumed that the same issue might occur with HDMI switches too (particularly since at one point - though I forget what search terms I used exactly - I did one search via Google for a HDMI switch and the item the search mentioned, stated it not being able to pass the control signal through).
Thanks for the clarification and advice :)

Re: HDMI switch?
I've got a HDMI switch made by Octavia.
It was one of the first available and was quite pricey, not sure how much they are now though, the tech has been around a long time and prices should be much lower.
The Octavia kit will do exactly what you want.
