SFF The Way Forward, no doubt

Tonight I shall take my Q-Bic toSairs parents house and teach her old man to fly IL-2.

I would NEVER do that with my Tower Case.

I will have XP2600 power, 1/2 Gig, 60 gig hard disk, with good sound and fluid (ish)graphics in a little silver box...and he shall swoon

Long live SFF Without it....I'd not even think of it

What gfx have you got in your Qbic?
    Have you done any mods?
I managed to squeeze a Sapphire 9600XT Ultimate in mine.

    Horses for courses.

I used to have big midi tower thing, half the pci's were empty (those that were only had a network and sound card) never even had to touch the built on ide/raid controller for devices. Ended up wondering why I bought all this huge stuff. So I moved to a Soltek Qbic, I still have a pci and 5.25" free and as for overclocking I've actually undervolted it. Unfortunatly those Mobile 2500+ came out the week after I bought my normal 2500+ grrr. Replaced the PSU with a seasonic and I'm using speedfan to adjust my fans in response to heat/load levels.

Next thing to do is buy a Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu and fit that instead of the bundled Soltek Cooler.

I love my sn45g , added 2 60mm fans, added some mesh stuff to the sides and cut out the read grill + a silent x psu. With my normal barton with a vcore of 1.8v it only gets to 51 degrees under load.

Plus the fact i can easily take it to my mates house for lan action makes it easily the bast pc i've ever had

very proud shuttle owner here , have everything i need and still have the AGP & PCI slot free.

there definetly the way forward , thats for sure. all big consumers will use them by 2006 , and the only thing ATX will be used for is for servers or major g33ks.
