    Cool What to get?

Ok, I have an MSI GD65 and I need a cpu, graphics , memory and a case. I reckon budget is about £400 give or take. I was planning on getting 4GB g.skill 7-8-7-24, a cm 690 pure edition, an i5 750 and a 5770. Any improvements here?

Some of these are answered in other threads already, funnily enough they were started by someone called 'nibbler' as well

I'd personally swap the g.skill memory for either Kingston or Corsair equivalent.

    Corsair XMS3 Dominator

    Kingston Hyper-X

Other than that everything looks really good. I have a CM690 and its an awesome case, specially with 4x 140mm fans fitted

    Re: What to get?

Cases are a personal thing, and personally I'd look at the lancool K58 over the cm690
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Lanco...97-Audio-ports

Not that the cm690 is a bad case, just that the the Lancool has better toolless features (probably the best toolless features yet) better placement of the top extrenal usb&audio ports and is overall an exellent case for the price.
The K58 lacks the all black interia, top fans and windowed side panel of the K62 but is a good chunk cheaper

    Re: What to get?

If your going to be buying hi-speed RAM, be warned its not easy/long winded to configure memory on the GD-65 from my personal experience.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
